As the year draws to an end, we have to announce the second and last retirement of thewhale. After some renewed help and guidance for our staff team and the entire site, real-life responsibilities once again took priority. However, if you look far and deep enough, you might still catch a glimpse of a whale swimming around in the wide ocean.

Now that thewhale is out of the picture, Niko can finally start a quest for world domination. We're happy to pledge our allegiance and proud to announce Niko's promotion to the role of Administrator. Starting out as a Torrent Moderator and later working as a Team Leader, Niko has plenty of experience to keep the (evil) hamster wheels oiled up all the time!


Winter Crafting & Winter Theme

As with every year, a number of winter materials can once again be obtained on the site. Use them to craft a hot chocolate to keep you warm or build a snowman to keep you company!

To fully evoke a festive spirit, chris10000 also designed a new winter theme. If you aren't already seeing it, you can enable it by switching to the Gameroom theme in your user settings.

Presents & Gingerbread!

In order to keep our hungry gazelle fed over the winter, we've also baked plenty of gingerbread treats. However, we've made far too many and spilled quite a few, so be careful you don't stumble over them while browsing the site!

Motivated by the new treats and in celebration of the wonderful year we've had, the GGn gazelle put together some nice presents for everyone. You may have noticed the gift box in this post. Clicking it will award you with a Christmas present, containing lots of gingerbread, a freeleech token, a chance to get some unique yeti pets, as well as a randomized assortment of crafting materials to be used in Winter crafting.
