Avoiding scams - your DCC key

Hi Club denizens -

Just a reminder that your "announce key", which is part of your "announce URL", is unique to you and identifies you to the tracker. Never share your key with anyone inside of DCC or outside of DCC. Anyone asking for your key, your announce URL, an "API key" etc. probably isn't going to do anything good for you or DCC with it. No-one inside of DCC should ask you and the staff asks you to report any forum or PM requests for this kind of information.

It goes without saying that you should never share your key with anyone outside of DCC, including "link sharing" and "debrid" sites. This is one of any private tracker's most important rules and breaking this rule in any fashion will result in a permanent ban.
