ComicBT - Carat System Fail

As many users have already seen, CBT has been going through changes. New management, an innovative new ratioless Carat system, something about a pizza party…? But the transition, as always, experiences turbulence. The best laid plans go astray, the road to hell is paved with good intentions… that kind of thing. But we’re happy to announce that CBT is back on track. The problem code has been beaten into a coma and… dealt with… and we’re once again a happy, healthy tracker. Unfortunately, the data we lost cannot be recovered, and we won’t be able to automatically restore users’ points to them. What we CAN do is roll up our sleeves and disembowel the problem with our bare hands. And that’s the real announcement here:


Users who wish to restore their carat balance can, should, and are encouraged to send a Staff PM on the website detailing the exact amount/rough estimate of points they lost. Those points will be awarded to users by staff on an individual basis. Just include the relevant information in the message, and wait. Your points are coming back to you. Users who take advantage of this hectic time in the site’s history to make off with a few extra hundred-thousand bonus points will find themselves in a dark, cold, and lonely place.
