do we have an update on the ETA of the site being back up
Still off. This is a long downtime...
And it's still down waiting for someone named Melvin that is needed to recover something on the server at the datacenter. It's all a bit mysterious. I'm thinking it is likely not going to return. I'm very sad but moved on.
Recover on the datacenter? well, that takes 24h...
Its better to move on. Its sad. It was a good project.
is there any news?
BitmeTV is also down. I enjoyed the sites, so I hope they come back.
The only problem was nobody ever took back once I was seeding.
Hard to keep ratio up on those two sites...
Damn, I'm very sad with the bitme downtime.
I really loved this tracker, great content. I was a member since I don't know when...
I also loved the fact that you could donate via amazon cards. Most trackers these
days require you to buy bitcoins for making donations.
What do you guys intend to use or currently use as an alternative to bitme?
I have a geeks account but I don't download too much because I find it hard to seed.
Any suggestions?
I've read good comments about bitspyder in the past.
I might consider it after all. Thanks a lot.
As I recall BitSpyder is also on autopilot. Not sure if the status changed but the owner was MIA and everyone was just waiting the inevitable. Again take my words with a pinch of salt as I might be wrong
