Anti-piracy raids in India ends with arrests

The Crime Branch Anti-Piracy cell arrested 20 persons during Statewide raids that were conducted to rein in film piracy and sale of pornographic material.

The operation was conducted on the basis of information received by Anti-Piracy Cell Superintendent B.K. Prasanthan, police sources said.

Arrested persons

The arrested persons were identifed as Aneesh of Palode, Nishanth of Kilimanoor, Muhammed Ansary and Shaji of Pothencode, Vinod of Kadakkal, Santhuraj of Karunagappally, Nishad of Kunnamkulam, Jamsheer of Punnayoorkulam, Navas of Alappuzha, Rasheed of Kuthiathode, Anil Kumar and Aneesh of Mannar, Sreekanth of Pandanad, Anu V. Prasad of Athirampuzha, Aji of Kottayam West, Harikumar and Rasy of Kanjikuzhy, Aji of Central junction, Chandrabose of Muttom and Prince Mathew of Cheruthoni.
