I would love to get in. I've been trying to get into What.CD lately, but their IRC chat was always inactive/empty whenever I tried. And then I heard about the closure... What a bummer. I have good ratio in several Lithuanian general-purpose trackers, I always seed downloaded torrents for at least a month, and my upload speed is a bit over 600Mbps. I know it's hard to trust someone who never had membership in similar trackers before, but I'm dying to get in. I love classical music and I need a way to get more of it. For now I'm barely surviving with Demonoid and Rutracker, neither of which satisfies me. I will provide good seeding, and also rip a bunch of CDs if they're not there. I can provide recordings of some Lithuanian composers whose music is renowned across the globe, although hard to get access to (especially Čiurlionis).

I would love an invite. I was an active what.cd member since the beginning. I also had many unique uploads! Thanks =)

I'm a former What contributor and want to help get the community back up and running! I was out of town and *just* missed the open sign-up window, and am hoping that you might be able to help me with an invite. The loss of the What's contribution to the community was devastating, and many of us are still holding onto our rare / unreleased / out of print albums that need to be heard by the world. I realize that there's a huge pool of applicants for one of these invites, but I'm hoping I'll make the cut, and am willing to answer any questions you might have regarding my former membership. I also got into What via the 5-hour interview on audio fidelity and site contributions, so I know my stuff and want to resurrect the culture that all of us had on that site and build something even greater. I hope you'll consider me.
