Windows 10 Taskbar Recycle Bin? Why Not in the Tray

Microsoft tries to please the majority of users with each new Windows version. There’s also a place where requests are made, and hopefully taken into consideration.

Amongst the greatest controversies with Windows 10 is the Recycle Bin. It all started because of the ridiculous design of its icon, which you could easily draw in around a minute with little effort. This is a concern only if you’re picky though, because nobody’s stopping you from changing the icon.

However, looks are not the only concern, especially because Microsoft got rid of this issue. Now, enthusiasts are hoping and waiting for a fully functional Recycle Bin to pin to the taskbar and simply drag files there to free up more desktop space.

With this in mind, a little research through our Windows applications database revealed a small little program that might just be the perfect Recycle Bin for Windows 10. Here’s what it can do.

Step 1: Download and install MiniBin.

Step 2: Once it’s launched, look for it in the system tray.

Step 3: Right-click the icon to expand the menu.

Step 4 (optional): Open or Empty it by clicking corresponding links.

Step 5: Hover your mouse over the Configuration entry.

Step 6: Choose to either open or empty it when a double click is performed.

Step 7: Enable sound alert and progress window via the System Integration entry.
