Guide to Selling/ Buying/Trading!
This is a little guide to help prevent some of you members from getting ripped off.
1. Do not jump at the first offer you see to sell or buy, shop around and do your research or don't buy the first car you see and just drive away because then you get a LEMON.
2. If you are the seller and you have a lot of feedback and the buyer doesn't guess who goes first, if they don't want to go first then deals off MOVE ON.
If you are the buyer and have a lot of feedback and the seller doesn't guess who goes first, if they don't want to go first then deals off MOVE ON.
3. Refer to 1 look around and wait for a trusted person to either buy or sell you the invite/account. There is no hurry to get what you want patience is key. If you jump on the first thing you might later see a better deal or get scammed and ripped off.
4. We have a Store, check it out. Some invites/accounts are sold by Arag and others are not but rest assured I believe the store is a lot safer then a new member.
5. Do not sell/trade/buy invites/accounts from member who have just signed up. Let them be a member for about of month and make some give away or donate to our site. A lot of scammers out there looking to take your goods and they don't last that long here, few weeks tops before they scam someone.
6. The scammers motives are like this. I will be a good little member and make my giveaway and get some posts up. I may even sell a couple invites but check what they sold or gave and what there feedback is from and who it is from. You can always dig around and see OH DAMN this guy sold some people invites to TL and PTM but who are those people check there shit as well because they could be that guy having a dupe account. Now here comes the big score he has his little bit a real/fake rep who knows it doesn't mater and BAM hdbits.org for sale 100 euros. You see oh hey this guy is trusted I DOUBT IT, if you fall for that you didn't do your research or you must not care about your 100 euro.
7. Know who the active members are here try and remember there names and avatars it helps with making decisions. You see that guy made a similar trade you want to make with some and the feedback is from a donor. So who is that donor and how long has he been here. I trust the donor that has been here for a while and has amazing feedback before I do the donor who has just shown up.
8. When you get scammed or ripped off don't just give the guy negative -feedback. Open a dispute thread or contact staff, too much does this go on and someone else opens a dispute thread and OH HEY you could have prevented that member from getting ripped off if only you had already done what he did and opened a dispute.
I hope this guide helps you and you never get scammed and ripped off. I will try to update this when I get my brain rolling on the ball more!
