best torrent download apps?

Hi, new to all this - can anyone recommend a decent client to use for downloading torrents?

I am currently using a very old version of "uTorrent 2.2.1" as was told (many moons ago) that its best as theres not 'leaks' i this version...

any help or advice on what to use, would be greatly appreciated
