Your Username - IMPORTANT

Some people over look this fact and its very important so I am going to make this thread as a reminder. If your name here is the same on any tracker, forum or blog PLEASE TELL STAFF. Send the Administrators a message and they will change your name unless you would like to be banned from your favorite private tracker along with your inviter and invitees. Don't think this doesn't matter because this is the number one way to get banned. Even if its not you and you see someone using your name on this site that is the same on another site, NOTIFY US.

Adding BUMP for a reminder to all the new and old users who may have looked past this thread. If you have the same name as you do here at any other place please notify me and we will change your name, it is not safe to use the same name here as other places!

Does this really happen? Someone would stoop so low as to intentionally replicate another username from a tracker and use it on an invite forum like this one? If it does then it must be a coincidence. Nonetheless I do agree if you see another user with your username or simlar that you report it anyway.... for realz!

yes it is true guys i invited 2 guys they use same nick as it here they both are BANNED and my invites get dissabled

So assuming that I'm a bad person, and I hate someone that much and I know his account name on some tracker, I could actually register myself with his name and possibly get him banned because of the same name? that really sucks if it is lke that..

What if the name is similar,but not the same? Could they still tell? Should we still change it?
