Would you get the COVID-19 vaccine NOW, if you were able to?

    Let's vote.
Please also try to explain your choice in a reply to this thread.
Also note if you'd prefer a specific vaccine and would not get another one. (For example: "I would like to get the X vaccine, but I wouldn't get the Y vaccine.")

    hey @FreshWater
    nice thread
if it will be available soon I ll get it without a second thought.
my priorities for vaccines are pfizer, moderna & astrazeneca. as long as the respective vaccine is authorized by FDA & WHO It should be ok.
was curious to know who voted for NO

I just voted for the 2nd option (Probably yes, but I'd like to wait and have more information from people who already got the vaccine). Anyway, I have to wait a few months till I can get it, so meantime I'll continuously check & analyze the reaction of those who already got it.
My priorities are: 1. Pfizer-BioNTech; 2. Moderna - and I don't have other options yet, I don't really trust the AstraZeneca vaccine (but I'll see that later).

About who voted what: I'd also be curious about that, but this is a serious personal question, so I decided not to let anyone to see other's choice.

No, eventough I am 50+, I wouldnt take the risk of getting a vacc with basically zero long term testing, it's like with new tech products, they are all not 100 percent working and the industry has to adjust after release, my opinion.

Well, I on to being 30s and havent really stepped out much in 2020. What a lazy bum... The thing I worry about is mostly this new "method" mRNA vaccine and not sure if down the road there will be complications in the vaccine itself being not entirely effective or that a crazy mutation or new virus emerges from nowhere. Stay safe guys!

Unless you are aware that you highly prone to allergies, and your doctor illuminates risks based on your medical history, there's literally no good reason to not get vaccinated. In fact, not doing so is grossly irresponsible and extremely, even needlessly, selfish.

I'm getting the vaccine once it is proven to be safe and not going to make me feel like death for a month.

I voted #2, would wait a bit but if I had to pick, Pfizer or moderna would be first choices, there also a dozen other upcoming vaccines, Johnson & Johnson vaccine should be out soon too..

As well as the Curevac (+Bayer lately) one (their 2b/3 phase started last month). Let's hope we'll have lots of vaccines available soon.
