As far as I could remember my beginning was through TorrentDay it was my usher in Private trackers sites

My first private tracker was pornolab.net. Porn place with ratio and minimum seed time.

torrentleech.org and some others that do not exist at the moment - hard to recall their names...

My first tracker had many names, it was an Icelandic one and there was a big legal debate at that time, many many years ago.
IceTorrent is the only name I can remember..

Being a small Island, the ISPs kept getting hit with legislations to block the sites so they were always just changing domains (before the times of general VPNs haha).
We used proxies and the tracker had like 5-10 different domains.

In the end the guys sold it to someone in Netherlands? or something, and it got hosted outside of Iceland.

Now, unfortunately, it's boiled downed to being Deildu.net... a terrible non reputable private tracker.
The sad thing is it's the only tracker with local Icelandic content... and the quality is SHIT...
I don't know how it's possible to end up with a 320*170p resolution tip from a 4k source, but the Icelandic rippers still manage haha.

A bit of a sob story haha, but it's sad that there is actually a place for our local content and it got wiped with no quality control and unwatchable content.

Had to check old messages and mails since I forget lol. That was way back when I was first starting with torrents and wasn't very serious. Used it a little but honestly don't remember anything about it. Turns out it closed in 2018 after some searching. Even though didn't used it much its still a bummer.

I don't know if it would have been considered private at the time or not but I joined Myspleen in 2006. I think Cinemageddon was the next in 2012 but I might have joined TVTorrents before then. It doesn't exist anymore so I can't check.

My first one was IPTorrents a long time ago like 15 years ago, however since then lost my login credentials.

Same, IPT for me. Around the time PublicHD went down someone from there gave me the invite.

MyAnonaMouse and I couldn't be happier with their setup. Made me interested in finding other private trackers.

I think it was TorrentBytes, sometime around 2007.
Before that, used to download from password-protected FTPs I found on forums, and Kazza or eMule back in the days when the download speed did not go more than 200KB on a good day :)

I think mine was Backstube, it was a small german tracker. Pretty sure it doesn't exist anymore.

Funnily enough, I was also very early on a now quite famous porn tracker (Empornium) before it became a closed tracker, but I've lost my login data years ago. I haven't downloaded porn in ages anyway, but invites are quite in demand these days - but who could have known that years ago ... (definitely not me!)

The first Private Tracker I got invited to was IPTorrents a while back.

It was Torrentbytes more then 10 years ago if I remember correctly.

I never been on a private tracker, could usually find what I needed on piratebay or whatever, but lately it's seemed kinda sparse.
