Star Wars: Galactic Nights Returning This Year

Disney’s fan-favorite Star Wars -themed event, Star Wars Galactic Nights, is making a comeback to Disney’s Hollywood Studios this December. Last year, the celebration was first executed and has quickly won over fans from around the world. So this year, the House of Mouse has decided to do a repeat of the festivities where fans can take part in a bigger and brighter gather that involves a slew of celebrity guests, awesome fireworks, and those cute lightsaber churros. The event will take place on December 16 — a day after the upcoming Star Wars: The Last Jedi hits theaters.

Directed by Rian Johnson, the film will be the continuation of the new lore that The Force Awakens started in 2015. It will see the return of our newest favorite characters like Rey, Finn and Poe Dameron as well as our legacy characters, Luke Skywalker and Leia Organa. The narrative specifics of the film is still being tightly kept under wraps with both Johnson and Hamill urging fans to avoid as much marketing as they can for unwanted spoilers, fans can expect a couple of answers for some existing mysteries surrounding the sequel trilogy.
