Skin boots causing a stir on social media

Fashion designers Fecal Matter turn heads with their unique styles, but their latest creation has people from all over the world talking.

The creation - skin boots. Thigh high, flesh coloured heels that makes the wearer appear to have mutated feet.

Complete with toes and a horn above the ankle, the heels could make for the perfect Halloween outfit. But they’ll set you back more than $14,000.

Posting onto their Instagram, they showed a video of a model trying to walk in the shoes. She appeares to take a couple of tender steps, before posing for the camera.

The posts have been viewed more than 180,000 times in three days.

The Paris-based designers call themselves “everything you fear. We are a duo that creates under our multi-disciplinary platform called Fecal Matter.”

“We connect fashion, film, politics, music and everything that is forbidden in order to promote critical thinking to a world of mindless clicking.” They wrote on their Facebook page.

The duo usually photoshop the freakish feet onto their models post photoshoot, but decided to make the real thing out of silicon.

There’s only one pair, and according to their website, they’ve already been sold.
