Seeding - challenges and tips

Hey, so I'm starting a thread for everyone to post ideas on how to seed, and the challenges you guys face!

I'm sharing a little story of mine.... here goes

So i'm an avid indie fan, and being such.... not many people download these files lol
Anyhow, it seems that i'm slowly incuring large downloads.... So i guess what I do now, is download
a small 2-4gb popular movie, or tv show, and keep that seeded to boost my ratio.
Oh yea, dont download packs to do this, it never really makes up for what you download...
Anyone else know better ways of improving your dl/ul ratio? what about for sites without freeleech, or for popular/ unpopular sites :/

I've learned a lot from What.CD. Probably the toughest tracker to seed on. Essentially, the mantra there is just to continuously seed everything you ever download.

Another strategy is to race, though this only works with a seedbox or a fast internet connection.
With a seedbox, you can just auto-download files you think will get snatched frequently (on What, these are the flacs). If you use the announce channel on the irc for your tracker, you can do this manually. Just download popular-looking torrents as they are announced so that you get access to the seed first.

seedbox is cure for any poor home connection speeds, 10 euro a month will get you a half decent seedbox and have no problems at all.

Seedbox is what you need. At seed.st you can buy a box at weekly rates instead of monthly if you need a quick fix. Also on a lot of trackers the packs are free so none of the download will count on you ratio. Just any upload data.

If you use a seedbox, do you have to manually add files back to the box to seed? Or do you download files into the box and then download it again from the box?
