Represent your city!
Greetings folks! I started this thread to see how much you have love for your city or county. What is it that makes you prideful of where you reside or what are the things that you could change that would make your city or county even more engaging. Let me first start by saying I'm a "New Yorker" born and raised in the urban jungle of "New York City". One thing I would have to say from my personal perspective and opinion is that "New York City" is the gateway to meet people from different walks of life. I love the fact that their is never a dull moment, theirs is constant excitement every block I turn. The downside is that everyone is drumming to the same beat day in day out. The human rat race is an understatement if you're a "New Yorker" it's more like you're enslaved by bills and the constant stressors of the uncertainty of job stability. Post your feedback, I'm interested to know what life outside of "New York" is like.

My town, Banja Luka, could be described with the same words you described yours with. Seems to be the case with every city that somehow seeks to represent its country in the best way possible. As for mentality of people here, most of them have given up, but the fire is still burning deep down.
