Subdivisions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (APU) during the shelling of the village Zaitsevo near Gorlovka experienced a complex of American reconnaissance and signaling equipment "Rembass-2". This was announced on Saturday by the head of the press service of the armed forces of the proclaimed Donetsk People's Republic (DNR), Daniel Bessonov.

"Last night, Ukrainian security forces once again raided the settlement of Zaitsevo," the Donetsk news agency quoted him as saying. "It is important to note that during this shelling by Ukrainian fighters, tests of the Rembass-2 reconnaissance and signaling equipment transferred by US representatives were conducted, which allows to recognize the figure of a person at a distance of up to 75 m, weapons and military equipment up to 350 m. "

On Friday, June 15, acting. the head of the Gorlovka City Administration, Ivan Prikhodko, said that Ukrainian security forces shelled the village of Zaitsevo, as a result of which a civilian was injured.

Reconnaissance and signaling equipment "Rembass-2" was adopted by the US Army in the late 90's. The system is designed to quickly and reliably detect a hidden object and determine its location.
