Can't seem to get 1:1 on a per torrent basis so seed for points
It depends on what I'm seeding.
Unless something has no activity for several weeks, I generally seed for a month or two, if there are still downloads or if there are few seeders, I will seed longer. I try and flag torrents by priority, and then cull based on age, never less than two weeks.
I seed to earn bonus points and buffer and to fulfill requirements. I don't have a massive sized seedbox and it's 96% full right now seeding mostly 2160P movies from Framestor and Epsilon.
Usually at least for a couple of weeks, always up to tracker H&R standards. IF I have the seedbox space for it, for as long as possible to build ratio/earn points/contribute to the community.
Until it dies :d
Combination of 2 & 4.
I have an ratio setup for anything auto downloaded via RSS that seeds for 3 weeks. These items typically get rotated out and replaced.
Anything fetched manually keeps seeding until I need the room for new stuff. Smaller files that don't have much impact on disk usage or bandwidth typically stick around forever; some have been seeding constantly for years. I'll never remove anything that hasn't seeded to at least 300% or been seeding for at least 2 weeks though.
If there is still use for it I will seed for as long as it is active, so usually a long time
Depends on the rarity (how many other seeders present), if I'm the only seeder present I'll continue to seed indefinitely...
