x264 Changed banned policies

Hey guys , i saw on some forum That They're removing all their bans that were based on country.
Now all previous banned countrys can join

is it true???

Banned countries: Egypt, Romania, India, Turkey, Italy, Israel, Brazil, Saudi Arabia and Portugal.


but they have Banned Country Exemptions :

Currently several countries are barred from new membership on x264.me and have been for some time, and for good reason. However we'd like to make an attempt to weed some good apples out of all the bad ones, so we're announcing an opportunity for those in banned countries to join the tracker. With this opportunity anyone in one of these banned countries can join if; 1) a current member in good standing vouches for them, or 2) they can contribute to the site in terms of encoding/uploading or donating to the server fund. If you know someone who wishes to join please send us a Staff PM to the Moderator class with the details.

Please understand that if you are vouching for someone you are basically leveraging your account rights here on x264.me that this individual is not involved in anything against our invite and security rules, such as: invite site membership/participation, invite selling, invite trading, account selling, account trading, cheating/faking upload. If they get banned here for any "normal" thing (like inactivity, bad ratio, massive hit and running, habitually harassing users, habitual racism in the forums, abusing/harassing staff, etc.) then your level of responsibility for them is far different and does not involve any risks to your account. But if they get banned for any trading/selling/hacking/cheating then your account is at risk.
