What tracker to replace Stellarwinds?

I was a long time user of Supertorrents which recently changed to Stellarwinds, but now that it has shut down I'm not sure where to turn. I would prefer to use only one or two trackers so they need to cover TV series and movies at the very least.

Based on reviews I've narrowed it down to Iptorrents and TorrentDay, but are there others I should consider? Also of course I don't want to waste invites by getting access to a tracker only to decide it isn't up to the job..

I came here to post the exact same question. so devastated that it is gone, without an opportunity to get ratio proof aswell.
Interested to see what people recommend, I thought Torrent leach would be the best replacement, but i am with you, dont want to waste invites on sites that are not up to the task.

In opinion IPtorrents is the best but torrebtday good to bicous he has a freeleech

Just got into torrentday and its pretty decent, very different to SW, but i am liking it so far. Much higher members means much higher seeder leecher numbers and more torrents to choose from. The design will take a little getting used to but it is fairly similar to SW though not as aesthetically pleasant who really gives a f.
Will work on my TD ratio and look into getting an IP torrent invite soon, was hard enough getting a TD invite without ratio proof from SW.

Lucky you! I have only pisexy at the moment which to be honest is not good enough by a country mile! I applied for IPT and TD giveaways, but so far I've been ignored. Not sure why to be honest..maybe just unlucky.

Anyway like you I'm gutted I don't have ratio proof from SW. I uploaded nearly 10TB to that tracker and what do I have to show for it... :S:S

10TB that sux dude. If you have ratio proof from elsewhere and a decent speed test result you will get one real soon I am sure.

One of the esteemed TI members took pity on me (much obliged) and gave me an invite to TorrentDay. Like Dicey1 said further up it is quite different from SW, but pretty good regardless. It does seem to be a bit light on movie releases though so may have to check out one of the trackers targeted specifically at that eventually.

In the meantime it does the job nicely and I'm already in the process of building up my ratio (which seems to be very easy with all their freeleach torrents - also it helps that they have a lot of members..) :-)

yeah they also have a pretty awesome system where in you earn points for having active torrent and you can exchange them for upload data. I think 1 gig is 75 points. Either way its a smart way to run things.

I agree with you thor on the movies front. I now have access to torrent leach, filelist and ip torrents in addition to torrent day, I am yet to give these a good look through but will let you know if any are good for movies.

I'm in the same boat as many here, no warning so I couldn't even get a screenshot. I was with ST/SW for years, loved the site and even donated often. Now I essentially have to start from scratch again and beg for invites, I feel so... needy, bleh.

IPTorrents is ALOT better than TorrentDay (I have both hardly EVER use TD)

Also TorrentShack (TSH) is very good

Wow its crazy to see I'm not the only one affected by the ST/SW shut down. I was about to get a invite to TorrentLeech from a guy I work with. Its a great site, fast downloads, lots of users, fast to release both movies and TV shows (Thats about all I download), & ratio is easy to keep up. In the beginning its a bit tough because of the rules they implemented to keep people from not seeding, but after 3 weeks with no seed box I was up and running no problem. I also got an invite to IPTorrents from this forum. I like IPTorrents but they volume is not there like in TorrentLeech. I will also be looking to get onto TVTorrent and TorrentDay once I get a decent buffer on IPTorrents. Hopefully that helps.

I'd like to get into either one of those. I was a member of SuperTorrents for almost 8 years at this point about a 6.5 ratio there. At funfile I have something around 15. If any of yous have any invites to either I'd be happy to boost your rep there.

Oh TD is only $12 for an invite. Thats not too shabby.

What kind of tracker was StellarWinds? From what I gather it was quite similar to IPTorrents. Am I wrong? Would IPTorrents be a good alternative?
