What are the "really good" trackers?

I'm a tracker noob, how do I know what trackers are highly sought after or considered good? I went through the tracker list but I'm not sure how heavily weighted each level is.

If you've already been through the list of trackers, you could say that the most searched are the ones with the highest score.

Whether they are considered good or the best depends a lot on what you are looking for, if it is for the community, the type ( category ) of content or the amount / variety of torrents you can find ... it really depends

There is something specific that you like or that you usually look for?

So it really depends on a per-tracker basis then. I'm looking for the most complete anime tracker, and it looks like that would be Animebytes.

    Thanks!

Some of the best trackers would be ones that serve a slew of different types of content, but obviously if there's a certain niche you need, finding a tracker that only serves that kind of content is nice. Like, IPT and BTN have a wide range of files, but they don't serve Mac programs very well, so I use BrokenStones. They both had a lot of movies, a lot of them freeleech, but when they don't have that Sigur Ros DVD I really want, I use PassThePopcorn.

Hmmm, trackers are catogerized, into different section as well.
Its depend upon what kind of tracker u are looking for..for rare one u must join elites and for general scene releases TL and IPT is more than enough.

Yes, imo that would be AnimeBytes. It's invite only though.
You can also try BakaBT. It's not as good as AB, but it's still quite good. They have an IRC interview process.
AnimeTorrents is another great one, however afaik, there's no way to enter it rn. They do open singups from time to time so keep an eye on their homepage.
In case you are unable to get into any of them, or just need another source as well, I would also recommend looking at some private forums, as a some of great anime release groups are forum exclusive today, while most others' releases are shared there as well in most cases.

I know I am late, but hope that helps.

Depends what genre are you looking for. There are good trackers with small amount of users but with good content.

For me the most usefull sites are where you can find everything, even old movies and stuff. So for me the best general site is IPT, they have so many torrents always with at least couple seeds.
