The point is that some trackers like TL&other trackers that has no bonus points and barely any freeleech files, are know to be very hard to seed.So if you don't have super fast internet connection or seed box,you will suffer to maintain good ratio and also the one who invited you will be in danger as they will block his account if you can't keep good ratio or if you tried to cheat.
Good point, but if you apply for let's say BTN, then you know that your not gonna survive on a crappy internet connection, which means that your gonna need a seedbox. I think, that most people nowadays got a pretty decent internet connection, exept countries like pakistan and such.
We also have very slow connection speed
We are from Egypt
Can you believe that we have 512 KB/S connection speed with rate 55 KB / S download speed with 90 EGP Payment which equel 12 $
And 1MB connection speed provide 120 KB/S download speed with 140 EGP equel 20$
No place for us in internet world .
My Regards
Fast Internet conection it`s always good thing !!!
In MD we have 100/100 Mbps just for 13 euro yyyyhhhhaaaa :D
When a TI member offers an invite from their favorite tracker, it makes them feel much better when the applicant can show that they have an easy way to seed their torrents. A Seedbox says that the applicant has invested into their torrenting habits, and thus will be a safe person to share in the invite tree.
A Speedtest is telling a similar story... For example, some 3rd world countries do not have solid internet infra-structure. So giving your invite to a person who has crap internet speeds is a sure-fire sign that they won't be seeding files very well.
All proofs (ratio & speed) are a way to help understand and learn about the ppl you're inviting, because they could ultimately effect your account as well.
The goal is to be able to enjoy private trackers safely and with longevity. ;)
@dojavenger, thanks for you well explained post! :)
I understand it much better now!
Speed is really that Essential ?
