It was OK as a starter. Then I got on a few other music trackers and realised it was nothing special apart from being old.

I miss all the big hitters from back in the day. FTN, SCC, ScT, What, the list goes on. I was never a part of BCG because OG bitGAMER had everything I wanted but I heard it was great.

RIP 32Pages as well. :/

Used to love Demonoid. It was the all-go-to private tracker that best competed with TPB. Then they just started allowing anyone in there, didn't vet invites well, allowed torrents that crossed with other public trackers and it went to shit after that, from my recollection.

Same here, was active with What.cd, FTN, BCG, sceneaccess, TVT, Waffles, BItme, AHD, and Many more. That days are gone. Now it feels like an abandoned ghost town.

What.CD... I still remember the technical exam (music formats, bitrates, ripping, etc.) the admins gave you on IRC before you could become a member!

For me the most upsetting were What.cd and SCC. What a bummer but life must go on.
Gone but not forgotten.

Public: SuprNova was my first and my favourite of all time. More than Demonoid, more than MiniNova, more than Isohunt, More than TPB....

Private: SCT was an exclusive private tracker that has special place in my heart. I learnt how to upload torrents there and had lot of fun in their forums...

2008 was a time where the World economy crashed massively but it was an incredible time for filesharing history.
