Hi, I move around quite a bit and there's nothing like a good GPS to know where you are when your phone doesn't have reception (yup that still happens a lot in my case). Anyway, what is the best tracker for garmin maps? I used to be part of some forums but it seems those communities are mostly dead now (I'd be open for suggestions in that area too...) Thanks!

you can dl free openmaps, topographic maps with elevation contours, routes then dump it to your garmin gps or watch
I 'll send you a tutorial about it

This will be little out of topic but there is a program called OpenCPN which can be used navigational purposes for captains education. There is maps for openCPN i couldnt find mediterranean and blacksea maps anywhere if you know anything it would be great. thanks :)Quote:
