I've yet to find a VIP that gets you special treatment, you'll usually just find it gets your questions answered reasonably
as far as cost vs seedbox, you can buy freeleech on IPT for ~$30 month and go balls out. There may be better free leech/VIP offers, I'm only on a handfull of privs and that's about the best I've seen. Other than that you can get a 2TB seedbox and run 30TB of bandwidth credit a month pretty easily anywhere that has Freeleech torrents for ~$25 a month.
30 dollars per month is expensive, as you said going balls out is not applicable for normal average user. ........Looking for more insights.
some small trackers also have cheaper vip packages, but they do not have experience and can stop anytiime, with no guarantee.
but their Admin and torrent mods are on higher level trackers but they do not bother getting content from higher ups to the new tracker. it's lazy.

Yeah I mean filelist VIP is weird in that your ratio "can never fall below 2.0" and standard H&R immunity as long as you have VIP. I am not sure if you could just abuse this to the teeth and never get hit, I've never tried. I think the issue would be is that your data is still tracked so if you rip a few TBs and have a trash ratio, the second your VIP falls off your ratio will zero out and you will be restricted. They sell lifetime VIP for like $60 Euro there and it breaks down into every different manner of months/years at pretty reasonable costs.

Yes you can buy 30 days VIP for 3000 points and it looks like you can infinite loop it these are the maxes you can get (7 coins/hr) 7*24*30 = ~5040 coin/month
- 2.0 FLCoins -- 0.2 FLCoins x 10 torrents
- 1.0 FLCoins -- Seeding more than 50GB
- 4.0 FLCoins -- 0.2 FLCoins for every 50GB (Limited to 1,024.00 GB)
and yeah the Romanian language is -_- but just set your browser to auto translate to your native language and it looks fine. They do a good job of using words that translate well.
It could be 8 points per hour, but it's almost impossible to get 200 reputation points, or at least for newcomers. For what I could find you can only get those points by helping out others on forum, and the give you a +rep.
You also get points for idling in the IRC chat

Since I hardly have problems with ratio, as I upload more than I download, I donīt see much of a reason to pay for VIP. I did pay IPTīs VIP once because they offer a very solid IPTV service, there were more channels than I could watch in a lifetime.

Well, itīs been a while since I used it, but it worked well. One thing I can vouch for is the amount of channels, the variety is insane, pretty much every channel all over the world. I was surprised to see VH1 Classic still airs in Mexico, so great to watch it. Lately my free time is scarce so I stopped using the service, should still be working nicely. You can also check IPT forums, thereīs a thread about the service in there that should give you some good insight on how the service is currently.Quote:

Honestly, these days, the staff of many trackers across the board posses horrific bedside manner. Depending on the tracker, I may not donate to be a "VIP," but I have donated for unlimited downloads with no H&R. That's more valuable to me that becoming VIP. I'd rather pay do download that accept many of their bullshit.
getting a seedbox and VIP is two entirely separate issue. Why would you even use them in the same sentence?

You're still comparing apples to oranges. Seedbox, and a VIP status offer two entirely different functions. IN my opinion, you should not think of it solely on price, but what physical benefit you get from it. A real pirate veteran uses both, because he/she understand what he/she needs them for. If I were on a fixed income, I think the seedbox would be of greater value.Quote:
