Bret Hart - he had it all by his peak in 1997: in-ring, promo, drawing ability, psychology, creativity/innovation (and influence), and professionalism. Nobody else can touch him in all of these areas. No matter who you say, someone will come up short in comparison to Bret in at least ONE of these categories.

Not sure why Dwayne Johnson's a choice in the poll, I mean, he used to do the fakest most exaggerated flopping around when trying to sell moves. Always thought he looked like a trout when doing that.

Really depends on what you consider best. Best at pure wrestling skill, best talker etc. Out of the choices given I'd say Stone Cold with Rock and Hogan tied at second place but could be either way. You talk about wrestling at its peak and popularity these are some of the biggest names.
He might not be the best but Hulk Hogan is the most recognised. :captain:
