Western Bulldogs ruckman Jordan Roughead flies into Perth to meet with West Coast

Western Bulldogs premiership tall Jordan Roughead is a free agent now that the club’s off-season has started, and the 27-year-old is reportedly interested in joining the Eagles.

Afl.com.au reported Roughead this morning flew into Perth for a meeting with the WA club today.

West Coast is in the market for additional ruck support next season due to Nic Naitanui’s knee injury, and the prospect of soon-to-be free agent Scott Lycett being tempted to head east.

A versatile key-position player, Roughead has also spent time in attack and defence.

Roughead has played 138 games in nine seasons at the Bulldogs, including a key role in the club’s 2016 flag triumph.

But he could only manage 12 senior appearances this year amid time in the VFL.
