Cavaliers locker room worried problems go beyond losing streak, report says

The Cavaliers are growing increasingly unhappy after their 118-108 loss to the Warriors on Monday night.

The locker room is worried that its recent losing streak has to do with some deeply rooted problems that might not be fixable, Cleveland.com reported, citing unidentified league sources.

"Rotations are awful. IT (Isaiah Thomas) is so much worse than Kyrie defensively it's insane," said a league source. "There is not a great feeling anywhere. They need to limp into the All-Star break and get away from each other."

The Cavs have lost nine of their last 12 games and are currently the second-worst defensive team in the league. Specifically with the Warriors, they have won only one of their last eight meetings and have lost to them in the NBA Finals twice in the past three seasons.

The team is also worried that the age of the squad (the oldest in the NBA) might be starting to wear the players down.
Another concern is how owner Dan Gilbert has assembled the front office, with new general manager Koby Altman leading the operations. This crew was responsible for the huge trade that sent Kyrie Irving to the Celtics for Thomas, Jae Crowder, Ante Zizic and two draft picks.

Irving has flourished in Boston and the Celtics now lead the East, while Thomas just started playing again after rehabbing his hip.
