PS4 Remote Play escapes Xperia prison,but your DualShock will only pair on Android 10

Just when we showed you how easy it is now to pair your DualShock 4 or Xbox controllers with full key mapping compatibility to your iPhone, iPad, or Android 10 gear, Sony came out with a statement that it is widening its walled PlayStation garden.

If you want to stream "select" PS4 titles on said mobile devices, the Remote Play app is escaping Xperia phones exclusivity, and can now be used on any Android phone or tablet by simply getting the app off of the Google Play store.

For iOS users, that Remote Play App can now show the controller at all times and also lock the screen orientation, in addition to the full DualShock 4 wireless controller support for Remote Play that was introduced with the latest iOS 13 edition.

Just hold the Share and PS buttons together until the gamepad light starts blinking, and find the controller in the Bluetooth devices list on your phone or tablet to pair. Just don't rush to download remote Play just yet, as Sony will need to push out the big PlayStation 4 firmware 7 revision to our rigs first, some time "this week". The move comes hot on the heels of Sony slashing its PlayStation Now pricing in half, and letting cross-platform multiplayer wiggles its way to more games.
