"Can I use a VPN on X tracker?"

This is a common question asked on TI.org and generally amongst the tracker community. I have quickly put together a pretty basic and easy to understand list of where you can and cannot use a VPN.

Some of this list is pulled from Reddit while the rest is my own research. If you have something to add then chuck it in a post below the thread.

Some update:

GGn: Only dedicated IP VPN allowed after staff approval ( 2FA is requirement )
RED: VPN IP must be listed in the settings before using them

Bitspyder does not allow VPN as far as i can tell from the language on their site.

I asked an admin a few minutes ago and the answer is clear :

With your help I have updated it ;)

[BitSpyder] Per their admins they allow VPN's for the server downloading the torrent but not on the client browser.

myspleen.org doesn't allow VPN it will say you're banned when you're really not-FnP allows VPN
