    Transfering seeders to multiple Trackers

    Hey.

So I have a torrent that has been listed on multiple private trackers. Is there any way I can seed to multiple trackers w/o downloading the whole file over and over?

Yes of course. What client are you using ?

Just download the .torrent on the new tracker and point the destination folder to the already download file. Your client should check the file integrity without downloading again. after a few minutes it will start seeding.

As long as the signature (hash) matches, your client will not re-download the file and will start seeding. But if it is a RAR or some other archive with even little changes (such as entries in accompanying text file), the hash will not match and it won't seed.

Unless it's the exact same .torrent file it will cross seed, whether its rar'd or not.. Some sites like the IPT & Co ones use the same file so cross seeding is impossible in the same client but you can use separate clients if you encounter that. uTorrent doesnt allow cross seeding though, and adding the announce to an already added torrent is banned by 99% of trackers as it reports bad data.

Using fast resume avoids hash checks completely.

Make sure the files in the .torrent are identical. If you miss a small file like a .txt or .nfo it's fine, the client will only download that.
