What is Tree ban ? How does that happen and how to protect against it ?

What to check in proofs ( ratio/speedtest/seedbox) ? Here in GA I got invite to IPT. I'd like to give back something to TI. I want to do giveaway , don't know what to check for.

If you get banned on high level trackers (cabal) like PTP, BTN, GGn etc, you may get banned in other trackers as well. Or they may ban all of your inviters and inviitees a.k.a tree ban. You should use different IP/username/mail to avoid this.

You should check if they have good speed and their ability to keep a ratio so you don't get in trouble for inviting a bad user.

If I'm not mistaken it's global ban. Or do they treeban alongside global ban ? From what I can understand if someone gets treebanned , his/her inviter (only parent?) and all descendent gets banned. Am I getting this correctly ?

Yes, you may get a global ban AND a tree ban.

This actually depends on the tracker..

Bib for example will ban the inviter and all invitees connected to their account.

Cabal trackers like PTP ‘may’ do a invite tree ban and global.. but not always.
