    Seeding multiple trackers?

    Hey all!

I want to seed (crosseed) the same (personal) rip to multiple private trackers with rTorrent. Can anyone shed some light onto how is this done?

    Thanks in advance!

Create torrent file for every tracker and upload them to trackers then download them and add them to rtorrent.

    Thanks for the reply!

Is it really this easy? Same steps as creating the original except that I don't need to copy the torrent content folder to the client? Do I have to use a different .torrent name for each tracker? Cross seeding someone else's torrent is much more involved...

I just don't wanna screw something up!

No you dont have to use different .torrent names but you have to use correct tracker URL. Each torrent tracker have different URL. When you add torrent file to rtorrent you shoul point movie folder as torrent download folder so it can check the file and start seeding. If movie in your personel computer and you want to seed from seedbox then yes you should send movie to your seedbox.

When you creating torrent file fill source section with tracker abbreviations so this will provide different hashes* for torrent files and you can add .torrents to rtorrent as different torrents.

*Filling with different things also provide different hashes but filling with tracker abbreviations is the most preferred method. For example if you are creating .torrent file for "Filelist" fill source as "FL" if you are creating for "TorrentLeech" fill source as "TL"

If torrent tracker is public yes you can if not you cant. If torrent tracker is private you have to create torrent file for every tracker.

Was curious how cross seeding actually works myself.
Knew if it was public you can add tracker to the list in properties/trackers tab in client. File name and size has to be exactly the same.
So if its private you download .torrent file from the all different trackers you want, point it to destination folder you have said torrent, client rechecks and it's seeding. Good to know all this.

What about downloaded from private trackers?

    For example :
James Bon have on Private,Torentleech,Iptorrents.....The sam size and same files>

Is there any chance that i download file from private and seed to another trackers through same file or i need to check all separate?(download torrent file and recheck in qbittorrent)?

Example if you downloaded torrent and movie from ipt and then you can search the exact same name and size in torrentleech, then download the torrent only form torrleech and add in client (example qbitorrent) in paused state/or stopped state. Then match the torrleech torrent in qbittorrent, and wait for 100 percent match, then start torrent.

Summary, you need to check all seperately (download torrent file and recheck in qbittorrent)

Hope this helps!! Any question? feel free to ask here.
