I am using utorrent 3.4.2

In the status bar , there are a downloading speed that varies between 0.1 and 14 kb/s while all the torrent are seeding .
So what am I downloading ?
Is that normal ?

it happens with me even all my torrents are only seeding

That is the actual traffic that is used by the BitTorrent protocol to communicate with the trackers and peers (no actual data exchanged, so not tracked.)
