Problem with upload on multiple private trackers => torrent stolen

    Hello,

I recently upload torrents on 2 private trackers for sharing the same content. So I made 2 torrent with 2 different tracker url and the files directory was the same (same content for each torrent) under deluge.

My problem is that on one tracker I got 0 uploaded data so I think someone has taken the torrent on other tracker and change the tracker to other url ?

I was wondering how to avoid that. I made the 2 torrent with the same length pieces so same hash... do you think that I must change the piece length to get different hash, so the content will not be the same ?

    Thanks for your help !

Changing piece size can change hash and it can change the torrent file but it dont change the content so you cant avoid that if you dont change content also this is called as crosseeding and it is recommended from a lot of trackers to new user for building buffer.

It depends i am on a tracker which i cant seed so i decided to upload torrents. In my first torrent somebody crosseed it and i get no upload it was sad for me but i keep doing it and eventually i uploaded enough. When i say eventually dont get wrong i just uploaded 8 torrent for now so i think you shouldnt stop with one torrent. it is not happening always.

    Thanks you @daredevil .

Do you think that if I just add some data to a torrent specific for a tracker (for example files txt) then crossseeding can be impossible with another tracker which torrent have not thes files (but have same content, so the torrents are 99% identicaly) ?

    Thanks !

Is the stuff you upload is 100% unique? If not someone can find it and start seeding. Nothing you can do about that.
Changing torrent content by adding one file will get you only that 1% of upload.

Start seeding on both trackers at the same time, until they get 100% no cross-seeding will be possible.
