hi guys ive got my seedbox setup rss, but i want it to auto download as soon as the torrent is posted.. any help greatly appreciated

The very first thing to do is search and learn how to properly set FILTERS ! Otherwise you might end up downloading hundreds of torrents in a few seconds and run into HnR issues etc.
Some trackers do offer the option to generate custom RSS feeds based on your filter.
The second option is to do it directly in your client. I suppose you are using rutorrent ?

First of all rss feeds are updated acording to your interval settings also some trackers have min interval rules like 5 min so with rss sometimes you download torrents that uploaded a couple minutes ago. If you want to download torrents instantly after uploaded use autodl-irssi.

cool ive got to look into the faq about it, i havent been around the torrent scene for a while so not ure what im doing to be honest. but now grabbing for my server so need to buff ratio a bit to give me a bit of room to grab what i need... im not sure if im happy with my seedbox idk it could just be the torrents but not going as expected so far. back in the days you could smack a couple TB in a few days but seems everyone has a box now so taking a bit longer.. and the ones that have autodl-irssi seem to be the ones getting them first..

probably u have autodl feature in your box too(almost every box have it) so learn to use that. If you have problem just ask here.

yes i have autodl-irssi & rss, rss is useless i found, but any help with autodl-irssi would be greatly appreciated.. its like 1:16am here im typing with one eye open lol so going to get some sleep will bb tomorrow after work..

my ratio bad on one tracker tried to create a torrent direct on box kept failing, so downloading now and see if i can do on pc and get it up 1st.. anyways bedtime gnite

PM sent hope you dont mind, i didnt want to mention tracker name.. im in the red and trying to get back up. i try force recheck after adding torrent but it just tries to download. i also pick the original file location idk

but not autodl-irssi

Set filters, depending on what tracker it is and what is mostly downloaded on that tracker. You don't want to download every torrent and don't get any upload on them.
