Wow, I'm seeing a lot of accounts getting ban for no reason.
Maybe the site is having some technical problems as many people are having the same problem, seems very strange that their banning old accounts like that.

I've heard they ban whole invite trees if they find a cheater. I think this is what's happening.

I've been banned cuz my inviter was a trader. You just have to find another invite.

Well, that was a long time ago. I've since been re-invited since then.

I spoke in the IRC with a mod... They are banning you even if they smell anything wrong... For example I used a fake client 1.5 years ago... They banned me today... They are cleaning their databases. Seriously! They are cleaning their databases for sure... if they knew that I used a fake client one and half years ago why didn't them banned me one and half years ago?

I was banned a week ago or so after 6 months+ of membership. I bought my invite here. Since i didnt do anything wrong, i decided to join the IRC help channel: The operateor said the reason for closing my account is that i was "part of a cheater's tree". Now, i invited a friend of mine while i was a member (for free of course) and he was banned at the very same moment. Morality: Be very careful with invites, and never take them for granted even if you behave perfectly. If there is an issue way above you in the same tree, you are doomed.

IMAO, this is dumb stupid and exteremely violent to users playing the game.

The system is made so that people don't ask/give invites on public forums, not everyone is a bad user but you can't be sure. Only on the forums of private trackers and to a Class like PU or better, that way you know they are a trusted member and can behave on a private tracker.

I don't like it since I never cheat and it wouldn't be fair to be banned because of a douchbag, but I understand it.
