    Managing tracker email accounts?

Ok, so I have been joining a lot of trackers over the years and now I have a lot of trackers that have email accounts that are personal (not gMail and such). I used different email accounts for each, but many of them are under the same domain (which is also personal). Was that just dumb of me? How do you all manage your tracker email accounts?

Like, I suppose the best way would be to have a gMail email address for each tracker. Is that the best way? If so, then doesn't it become a pain to have to log into all of those email accounts regularly so you don't lose them? Is there some software you use to log you in to keep the accounts active so you don't have to? Or do you just toss multiple trackers onto a single email address (probably not)?

Basically, if you all can give me some advice on how to best organize all the false identities (emails) so it doesn't take forever to maintain them all. Thanks.

Yea, its a bit tricky. I really think I've been doing things wrong over the years. So, as an additional question, is it a bad idea to start changing tracker email addresses and making them gMail instead? I suspect that changing the email address for a tracker could be a red flag. So, its probably not a good idea to change them. Right?

I did a quick search for software and could only find a program called gMail Notifier. Supposedly it will automatically log you in and out of your gMail accounts without having to type in your UN/PWD's. I'm just wondering if in doing so gMail views that as you actually logging in (since it isn't through the browser). I mean, I won't be logging in to do much of anything other than to just make sure I don't lose the gMail account.

Anyone have any experience with this gMail Notifier utility?

Edit: Ahhh, you know I wonder if POP and/or iMAP keeps the gMail account active or not. Anyone know? Or do you always have to log in through the website to reset the gMail activity counter?

Just wanted to mention that gMail Notifier is pretty cool. You can set up multiple accounts and it will do all sorts of stuff with them, but the best thing is that it lets you open each and it logs you in and out automatically. So, no need to remember usernames and passwords, just set them all up and click on them now and then to keep your gMail accounts active. Not sure if there are better ways of doing this, but this little program seems like it works nicely for my needs.

So, I think what I will do is keep all my tracker accounts in gMail accounts and use this program. That's probably the best approach.
