IRC Announce channel for x264 and filelist

    Hi

I'm trying to set up autodl-irssi for x264 and filelist. Anyone here got it to work? I'm unable to find what both sites' announce channel and invite command fields should be populated with.

    Thanks

for x264 if i am not mistaken autodl is a hit and miss, i never managed to make it work. You should go the RSS road unless someone else has a solution.
For Filelist the invite command is:
    /msg System invite xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

where you can get xxxx from /irc.php. Announce channel is #filelist

Unfortunately I am experiencing issues with RSS torrents not loading properly on x264 which is why I wanted to try autodl, which seems to be even more harder than RSS. Its really hard to test as well seeing that not many torrents are added frequently so I have to wait to see if any changes I make work.

I will definitely try the filelist settings in a few hours and let you know the outcome.

Thank you so much for the input. Really appreciate it.

Well i can help with x264 RSS if you are using rtorrent. Apart from the RSS URL you will need to go to Settings - Cookies and add the following line

    x264.me|pass=xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx;uid=xxxxxx;

where pass and uid can be obtained from the cookie data of your browser.

Oh, I didn't know about the settings->cookies part. I've set it up that way now and am waiting for a torrent to get added so I can see if its working.

I am having trouble with FileList. I tried asking around in their IRC channel but very few seem to be using autodl there and don't seem to know.

I keep getting a "Retrying NicServ Identify command" on the autodl-irssi log when a torrent is added. I have registered my nick on irc.filelist.ro through mIRC and am using the same nick and password on the rtorrent setup.

Take a look at the image here - https://ibb.co/iUN63v

I've populated the nick and password with my site nick and password and the xxx in the invite command is replaced with the irc key (site nick and password fields are fake in the screenshot). I've tried using both #filelist and #Announce in the channel fields. Still get the same error. What am I doing wrong?

nick and password are the ones you registered in IRC NOT your site nick/pass. Also enter the email address associated with the IRC registered nick. it will be used to identify nick.
    Announce channel is definitely #filelist.

    Hope that helps

Yes, I've used the same nick and password as what I use for the site to try to get it to work. Email address is also the same that I used for the IRC nick.

I went back to using #filelist for the announce channel and still no joy.

Just an update for anyone looking for it in the future. Thanks to @masonos I've got FL autodl-irssi working. You need to update the tracker file as it is out of date. If any one would like to know the settings or need the tracker file let me know. Trying to spread the love and AMAZINGLY patient help given to me by the Super Mod above. Now on to some other sites and hopefully get x264's rss working as well

EDIT: DAMN, @masonos is amazing. I've got x264 to work as well. To anyone who'd like to know, you need to add the "pass" field from Cookies in your browser to your rtorrent settings as mentioned by him above. Make sure your login type in x264 profile is set to Normal and not Secure. Add the RSS feed link by selecting Categories, then Download link, then "Standard (No Cookies) and you should be all set.

I'm also having trouble getting Filelist's RSS and autodl-irssi to work.
@masonos if you still remember how to get them working, I'd appreciate your help.
