I am getting this message from the "sign up" link on Freshon.tv. Has anyone else had this issue?

looks like you are trying to access through a proxy, you should access via your real IP if not you cannot sign up. Check that you are not behind a proxy ip.

I can only assume that I am not behind a proxy as I have never set up such a thing. I went to whatsmyip and there was not proxy detected.

maybe it's a temporally issue from tracker, your inviter may be able to get in touch with the staff

You should get in touch with the staff. Check their IRC.

staff in irc will not help you about this
use Hotspot shield to signup and then close it and start to browse the site normally

staff in IRC were a great help and fixed the issue
