no u are wrong simply format your pc if ur account is banned..... and register another account

If they manually check your account, they might ban you even if you reformat. If they don't just changing the ip and deleting the cookies is enough.

Look SR123 is wrong, he hasn't got a clue.

I've been banned many times on what.cd and I currently have an account at the moment that I have some months now.

mann you are also partially wrong, you can do what you like to your Pc even replace it like SR123 recommends (Big lol) but if your ip stays the same your account will be ban again and again, members loose accounts all the time because they listen to bad advice like some of the stuff posted in this thread, this is why I'm very careful who I invite there.

They can't catch you by image clicking on TI as we have are own image uploader which every member should use.

Also, don't waste your time on their iRC. You won't get it back. Make another account with other: username, email, IP, password etc. Don't forget to delete your private data from browser (cache, cookies, history etc.) or better use another browser for what.cd. Good luck!

What.cd's mods use some images to steal IPs. It's not the case here on TI. I guess other forums are still vulnerable to this.

do you mean they posted images here on TI to get the ips? If that is so, anyone can still post a image with the insert image tag and get the ips. Yes, it won't work if TI image uploader is used but there is no restriction to the url you can use in the image tag. If you meant something else, then I didn't get it, please explain to me again.

All tge images on TI were converted to TI image uploader very quickly which was a very big and tiresome job, only images posted with TI uploader will become visible.

If someone posts a link of say a screen shot from image shack and you click it then they can catch you this way, if you hover your mouse over a link it usually shows you the URL before you click it, a corrupt image from what.cd will have added stuff in the URL so you can tell the difference.

My advice would be to get familiar with what way normal urls look from the most popular image uploading sites then you will be able to spot a corrupt image, this also applies to any other links you click from outside sources and not just images!

what exactly do you mean by a corrupted image? If you mean the regular corrupted images, and if it is uploaded on imageshack, then how come clicking on it will give my ip to what.cd?
Even if a corrupted image has an irregular url, what difference would be make if the domain is still imageshack?
I don't get this at all. Probably knowing what a corrupted image is will help me.
