Unhappy Can we use seedbox without computer ?

I have a problem and this is the only solution Iíve found

I would like to download and upload from a tracker but I donít have a computer

So what I thought about is buying a seedbox and make it download and upload to mega

I would go to a cyber cafe and let it do it but some questions araised :

1 - Can I check the seedbox through my iPad ? See how the uploads are going etc .
2 - If I do this , I would need to install a program in the computer ? ( note that I never had a seedbox ) and after removing the program from the pc , it would continue uploading , seeding and downloading ?

You don't need a PC to be able to use a seedbox. Think of a seedbox as a computer on the cloud. You can access it through a browser and download/upload through your iPad using an FTP client.

You don't need a computer to access your seedbox. You need a browser.
In my mind in my head this is where we all came from
Dreams we had the love we shared this is what we're waiting for

Yep, you can pretty much use only cellphone.
I myself access 90% of the time through my cell phone.
Now that I discovered Plex I might jump to 99% cell.

One advice though. Each seedbox have a different web ui, specially for mobile...
I have myself already used 4-5 different ones, so take your time searching a little, otherwise you might disappoint yourself

@isNN This is a great point, and one that is rarely advertised. Most UI is absolutely terrible. Is there a thread around here with a UI comparison review?

I recommend Transdroid (http://www.transdroid.org/) to manage your seedbox from your phone and Plex to stream to your TV and mobile devices .

It is a system that will turn all the movies/series on a server into a library.
For instance, in my case I will download all my movies and series into a folder that is monitored by my Plex server and I’ll use an app on my smart TV to stream this content. No more necessity of downloading the files into my computer if I don’t want to.
Excellent tool that made my life a lot easier.

Here’s some more information if you’re interested.

You don't need a computer to access your seedbox. You can do it from your phone or ipad.

Many of the torrent clients provided by seedboxes provide a feature where you can place your .torrent files in a particular folder and the torrent client will download torrents saved in that folder. So, you can setup such a folder, connect to seedbox via FTP, SCP etc and upload the .torrent files to that folder.

Then you can use plex if your seedbox supports or configure kodi to watch videos without downloading. :-)
