Best tracker for readable pdf magazines

Hi people, here is my question, I got this trainee-ship where I have to create a database of terms about economy, literature and movies (and I have to expand it extensively).
They request me to read books (or e-books) find words say the name of the magazine or book and then copy an excerpt. But I am lazy and I just want to copy paste the whole damn thing. So I need a tracker with a huge collection of books about those themes, so I can find the term, copy it and copy the excerpt too, that easy, I was thinking reading things like The Economist and etc, at same time, I want the tracker to have a friendly community who helps me to point me out the right e-publications (again I'm lazy). If possible (its not requirement) I want it also to be easy to seed.
So can you guys help me out? If you can post here, so that I can go find myself a way in .
