    any advise?

    hi im new to torrenting and im from uk...what could i do to prevent anyone including internet provider from seeing what im doin

    If you use private trackers you don't need any protection. Otherwise a seedbox or a VPN/proxy will do the job.

    but if i have a seedbox and im still using chrome to download the torrent file and then uploading to seedbox surely they can still see that way...*i only use private trackers(

    It doesn't matter as long as you don't download the files (not the .torrent file) using your home connection. As I was saying, using private trackers is safe.

    since the private tracker uses SSL certificate connection you will be totally secured,as I know not all private trackers use this kind of connection so you have to check before using any tracker

    Also the files you download are ip bind in some trackers and it will be of no use to them.

    Hi,

    I'm from the UK too, I think you're safe. The worst that could happen is your ISP (in my case virgin media) will block access to the site but you can get around that by using a VPN.

    Right now the only sites being blocked are public trackers so in my opinion..... torrent away!
