    Seedbox Company - seedboxco.net

    Great seedbox for beginners!
I'm somewhat of a newcomer to seedboxes and have only had a box with seedboxco.net for a month. So take my review for what it is.
A couple of months ago I started looking for a seedbox provider. Since I'm new, I didn't want to drop a lot of money into something I knew very little about. I wanted the best bang for my buck and did the whole spreadsheet thing. I prioritized price, space and transfer/traffic caps.
I decided on the Seedbox Company because it was the cheapest price per GB of space and it also allowed for Plex. I wasn't sure I'd use Plex, but it seemed like a good perk.
I decided to purchase the AB-1000 plan (1TB of space, 10 Gbps Down/Up, unlimited traffic). It's currently $11.37/month
There were a couple of other options that were cheaper, but they offered less space and caps on bandwidth.

    My experience:
The signup was quick and I had my welcome email and account within a couple of minutes. I installed deluge and got started downloading on my favorite mid-tier general tracker IPT. I focused on free-leech torrents and snatched them quickly. I found I achieved a 1:1 ratio well before the initial seed finished uploading. Since I had 1TB of space I didn't avoid the 100+GB packs or UHD movies. The first few of those have now uploaded over 5:1. That's some awesome , inexpensive buffer if you'd ask me.
Looking at my traffic over the past month, my peak upload speed was over 200Mbps and my peak download speed was over 250Mbps. Granted that only happened once, but gives you an idea. On most torrents, I got about 50-100Mbps on the initial download and the upload speeds were 25-50Mpbs depending on the speed of my peers. That was plenty for me because I figured I would keep the files running for the long-term. All my files were over 1:1 within a day or two, even files I downloaded a day after they were released. According to my spreadsheet (yes, I'm one of those guys), I have uploaded over 2.7 gigs over the past month. That's an incredible bang for my buck.

    FTP/Plex:
Since most of my files were enormous, I didn't DL much because I learned how to use Plex. For files I did download via FTP, I got about 20-40Mbps (Gigabit local connection) BTW, Plex is awesome. The instructions on the Seedbox Company site explained how to install Plex on the server. It was a simple click to install. Within about 30 minutes a successful install and Plex welcome email prompted me to the next actions. It did take me a bit to understand how the libraries worked, but a simple search of the interwebs helped me figure that out. Within an hour of initiating the install, I was watching my first stream from the box over Plex. I did test it on a 25 Mbps connection and I was able to stream UHD content without a problem.

    Support:
There was a couple of days around the New Year that it seemed non-existent. I had filed a support ticket when my server was non-responsive. I didn't hear anything within an hour or so, so I turned to the interwebs again and figured out how to restart my server. It was back up and running within a few minutes. I don't know what a 'normal response time' should be. I forgot about my ticket and cancelled it a couple of days later without a response from them. I'm sure they were enjoying the New Year.
Since then, I have seen admins responding to requests and complaints in the public chat. It seems they are willing to reimburse people that have issues.

    Overall opinion:
The AB1000 plan is great for beginners like me that want to dip their toes in technology. It's a incredible plan for the price. I'm not a poweruser so I can't speak for them, but I can say that it has exceeded my expectations.
