I actually converted nearly all my FLAC file to ALAC to play on my apple ecosystem without troubles. I've wasted so much time for something that has little usability....

I used to play FLAC on itunes with an add-on programe. If I remember it correctly, it was called fluke. Now I'm using vlc for all media playback.
