Madonna has debuted the full video of her performance at this year’s Met Gala – and it sees her debuting new track ‘Beautiful Game’.

The recording of Madge’s landmark performance at the high-profile New York event in May was released to mark her 60th birthday yesterday and features the new track at the six-minute mark.

As well as the new track, the 13 minute performance sees Madonna kicking off with ‘Like A Prayer’ and concluding with ‘Hallelujah’.

She previously teased the project by posting the artwork for ‘Beautiful Game’ on Instagram.

Madonna recently courted controversy by wading into the debate on the state of modern music, claiming that it all “sounds the same”.
Everything’s so formulaic, and every song has 20 guest artists on it, and everyone sounds the same,” she said of the music business in an interview with Vogue Italia. It’s also rumoured that she could be among the headliners at Glastonbury next year.

Earlier this year, insiders told The Sun that she is among the first to be booked during Glasto’s fallow year.

“Preparations are already well under way after they’ve taken this year off, and Michael and his daughter Emily Eavis want to make it better than ever,” they reportedly told the tabloid. “They have always been massive fans of Madonna and know she would put on an unforgettable show.

“It was really important that they had a diverse line-up for the 2019 festival after criticism of previous ones.”
