The black-and-white clip follows a teenage boy as he wanders the streets of McCartney's home city Liverpool following a successful date

Sir Paul McCartney has shared the heartwarming new video for his song ‘Fuh You’ – watch the clip below.

Taken from his eighteenth studio album ‘Egypt Station’ – which was released last Friday (September 7) – the visuals for ‘Fuh You’ appear to have been filmed in McCartney’s home city of Liverpool.

The video opens with a teenage couple walking up to a house, with the two sharing a brief kiss outside the front door. However, the mother of the girl breaks up this display of romance and shouts at the boy, Jamie, telling him to get a phone.

Undeterred, the boy then walks the streets of Liverpool with a grin on his face as he sings along to ‘Fuh You’ – and you can watch the full black-and-white video below.

McCartney celebrated the release of ‘Egypt Station’ last week with an intimate gig at Grand Central Station in New York City – check out the NME verdict on the show here.

McCartney will perform tracks from ‘Egypt Station’ at a small set of UK shows in December. Termed the ‘Freshen Up’ tour, McCartney has said of the gigs: “We’ve freshened up the show since our last time round and we are excited to get to play some of our new songs along side some of the favourites.”
