Arcade Fire have added yet another cover to their growing repertoire, busting out Creedence Clearwater Revival's "Hey Tonight" during their Wednesday night show at the Shoreline Amphitheatre in Mountain View, California. Via Pitchfork, multi-instrumetnalist Richard Reed handled lead vocal duties, delivering the track in a raggy howl that would do John Fogerty proud. Arcade Fire also made sure to put their own spin on "Hey Tonight" by dropping in a massive, Clarence Clemons-esque sax solo that helped the song reach the rafters.

"Hey Tonight" is the latest in a growing catalog of location-specific covers Arcade Fire have busted out throughout the tour behind their 2013 LP, Reflektor. Recently, they played the Smiths' "London" during a show in — go figure — London, where they were also joined by Echo and the Bunnymen's Ian McCulloch for a cover of the Liverpool group's 1983 single, "The Cutter."

While Arcade Fire treated fans to the Rolling Stones' "The Last Time" at their tour kickoff in Louisville, Kentucky, they soon switched to geographically fitting covers, and have now paid tribute to everyone from Chuck Berry ("Roll Over Beethoven" in St. Louis) and Kansas ("Dust in the Wind" in Kansas City, though that's technically in Missouri) to Prince ("Controversy" in Minneapolis) and Boyz II Men ("Motownphilly" in Philadelphia, where they also played a bit of Chubby Checker's "The Twist"). The group has also covered Stevie Wonder's "Uptight (Everything's Alright)" in Auburn Hills, Michigan, Constantines' "Young Lions" in Toronto and Devo's "Uncontrollable Urge" in Cleveland.

The latest North American leg of Arcade Fire's Reflektor tour will run through the August. The band will be joined by a number of big opening acts, including Devo, the Unicorns, Spoon, Owen Pallett, tUnE-yArDs and Television.
