Only Kanye West could have the Fifth Avenue Burberry in NYC rented out and all of its clothes entirely removed. With some help from esteemed fashion designer Riccardo Tisci, Burberry obliged Yeezy's requests, as the scene was set for Wednesday night's "Follow God" music video screening. (The "Follow God" video premiered Friday; watch it here.)

A dapper West and Kim Kardashian pulled up right on time coming from the 2019 WSJ Magazine Innovators Awards around 10:30 p.m. ET. Patrons were escorted to the sixth floor of the lavish-but-empty store, where they were greeted with food options of salad and pasta along with an open bar filled with an array of liquor options.

Kanye's Jesus Is King album boomed throughout the large showcase room, which featured reflective mirrors bordering most of the walls. A laid-back West strolled around the room and happily greeted everybody and thanked them for coming out. The space began to fill up to around 40 friends, family and music industry heads when special guests like Kris Jenner, Tyler, The Creator and A$AP Rocky pulled up with a few models.

In brief conversation, West squashed the rumor of Young Thug ever appearing on earlier versions of "On God." "He never heard 'On God,'" he said, but also mentioned how he needed to get Thugger to the Wyoming ranch ASAP. Kanye then got together for a photo opp with Tyler and Rocky. Kim hopped in, and after a few shots she joked how she doesn't have knees like Megan Thee Stallion.

After an hour or so of chitchat, everyone eventually shuffled into another room, where a large projection screen was being readied to play the "Follow God" visual. The Jake Schreier-directed clip finishes with a blue screen and white lettering to explain how having Kanye's father, Ray West, visit the Wyoming ranch actually inspired them to shoot the visual.

"For my dad to come to this ranch and ask me how many acres is this and looks and says, 'A black man?' He knows the importance of the idea a black man can buy land in America," Kanye said.

The video finds Yeezy taking on the open land of snowy Wyoming. He drives a tank-looking quad used to traverse the rough terrain with his father in the passenger seat, which makes for an endearing shot. As far as we know, it's the first video Kanye has appeared in alongside his dad.

West graced the mic after the video was run back a few times and had some words for the doubters. "People said you couldn’t have the No. 1 Christian, rap and gospel album at the same time," he proclaimed. The Chicago native then thanked Tyler and even went on to say that he inspires him when it comes to shooting visuals. "So good to have Tyler here, he’s one of the people I look up to for his videos," Kanye said.

For the Wests, it's back to Wyoming with the rest of the family. After a few daps, Kanye headed out with his wife shortly after midnight.
